A blind test is a method of testing in which independent observers record the results of any test or procedure without knowing the identity of the samples or what result might be expected. So, a blind camera phone test is one in which people pick the best photos from a group without knowing which phone shot which photo. The results and identities of the phones that shot which photos are then unveiled after voting has been concluded.
Guess who won convincingly when the Samsung galaxy note 4, Apple iPhone 6, HTC One M9, Google Nexus 6 and the Nokia Lumia 930 go head-to-head in a blind camera test? Yes; the one-year old Nokia Lumia 930. All those much newer toys just couldn’t…. *shrugs*
Anyway, here is what the final scores look like:
- Nokia Lumia 930 – 6032 votes
- Samsung Galaxy Note 4 – 5936 votes
- iPhone 6 Plus – 4344 votes
- Google Nexus 6 – 3965 votes
- Samsung Galaxy S5 – 3282 votes
- HTC One M9 – 1247 votes
I have repeatedly said that the Lumia 930 has one of the best cameras on a smartphone in the market. And you are probably tired of hearing it. Deal with it: the Lumia 930 is one of the best camera phones in the market. LOL. I still own one and I am very proud of it as a camera phone. It really is very good.
What’s more, the blind test was conducted by Phone Arena, a site that isn’t particularly in love with Windows Phone smartphones.
